Discoveries ‘08 - The Quest for the Truth will take you on a Christ-centered journey through the teachings of the Bible, exploring the past, present and future. It will feature powerful biblical preaching with graphics and specially-designed response sheets. You will also enjoy the best in Adventist music. You’ll have access to an interactive chat room, and can listen or participate in live, call-in question and answer sessions. To really follow Jesus is to follow Him on His journey to share the Father’s love. Nothing is more rewarding than cooperating with the Holy Spirit in leading people to Jesus. The gospel of Luke summarizes the essence of our Lord’s life this way: “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which is lost” (Luke 19:10). Check our calendar for the days and time of this spectacular, all important event!

SAN MIGUEL ADVENTIST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Our K-2 students at Milwaukee Seventh-day Adventist School (aka Milwaukee Jr. Academy) have chosen to help some disadvantaged young people in the Philippines for their Bible Lab project this year. The school, as well as the children, are very poor. They need school supplies, books, shoes, clothing, and some monetary help as well. Anything you can donate, whether it is a dollar donated for tuition or a box of school supplies; anything will help. No gift is too large or too small. There are 31 beautiful souls hoping to stay in their school and learn about the love of Jesus and His gift of salvation. If you feel moved to help, please email Mrs. Prima Glass at email her at i_teachforjesus@yahoo.com (Please note the underscore in the address when emailing her). Thank you in advance for your support!

A perfect and easy way to help Milwaukee SDA School is to sign up for the "We Care" program at Pick-N-Save.  To do this, go to the customer service desk and ask to get a Pick-N-Save card.  It is the one they scan every time you shop, so that you get all of the sale prices.  Our school can receive a percentage of your total bill in the form of a monetary donation from the company, if our school number is designated on your card.  Our card number is: 513000.  If you already have a card, please add our number to your card by going to the service desk.  Please consider helping the school in this way.  Thank you!

Fellowship Dinner every 3rd Sabbath! We welcome you and invite you to invite a guest! If you’d like to try out your culinary expertise and would like to share there is a SIGN UP SHEET on the bulletin board for you! We need you!

If you were in an accident and killed would you leave a mess for your spouse or your family?  The way to avoid this is having an estate plan in place.  Call your attorney or the Wisconsin Conference Office.  The Conference will provide an estate plan for you at no cost as long as you leave something to the Lord’s work. For help call Richard Habenicht at 608-241-5235 for more details.

Want to know the truth about hate crimes laws?  Where does our Church stand on Darfur?  Are security programs endangering our religious liberty?  What can I do to make my voice heard?  This past July 4th, something revolutionary happened to the Adventist religious liberty work.  Visit www.religiousliberty.info

“Children’s Church” offered at Waukesha.  Many parents feel distracted and unable to concentrate on the worship service as they try to keep their children entertained or quiet. Children’s Church service will be held in the Adult Sabbath school classroom.
Each parent participating in this service will be asked to take a turn in assisting the teacher during the 11:00 o’clock service.  The more families that participate, the fewer times you will be asked to assist the teacher.  For example: twelve participating families means you will help out once a quarter. There will be planned activities.  Please fill in the names and ages of your children should you wish to participate.  All children 10 years and under are eligible for this program.
